Wild Wanderers delivers high-quality forest school experiences that bring learning to life through the natural environment. Rooted in the Forest School ethos, our sessions are designed to support confidence, wellbeing, and development through hands-on, child-led exploration.
We work with schools, families, and communities to provide engaging outdoor learning opportunities, including holiday camps, after school clubs, alternative provision, SEND sessions, and home education groups. Each session encourages curiosity, independence, and resilience, giving children the space to explore, take supported risks, and develop new skills in a supportive outdoor environment.
Our provision is based across two unique sites, each offering different opportunities for exploration. Our main site features a stream setting, creating rich opportunities for water play, investigation, and sensory learning, while our orchard site provides a large, enclosed space ideal for group activities, movement, and wider exploration. We also offer the flexibility to deliver sessions within school grounds or other locations.
Activities may include den building, bushcraft, fire lighting, tool use, nature exploration, and seasonal learning, all carefully planned to support both personal and social development.
Our approach is inclusive and tailored, ensuring every child is supported and challenged at the right level. Alongside our sessions, we also offer consultancy and support for schools and organisations looking to embed outdoor learning into their provision.
At Wild Wanderers, we believe forest school provides a powerful foundation for children to grow in confidence, develop lifelong skills, and build a meaningful connection with the natural world.
